Park Farm is our family run mixed farm located just outside of Middleton Stoney, near Bicester, Oxfordshire.
In 1937 Jack Norman with his wife Delia and their three sons, John, Denis and Jim moved to Park Farm. Over the past 80 years the farm has seen a number of changes. In the Second World War the farms park land was used as a base, for storing aeroplanes, as a firing range and there was also a camp hospital for treating injured soldiers, together with providing food for the war effort.
A number of different crops have also been grown here on the farm over the years, including potatoes and sugar beet, and there was also a small dairy herd. Nowadays combinable arable crops are grown as well as temporary grass leys which, along with the permanent pasture, are used to feed the livestock.
Jim Norman’s daughter, Jane, married Peter Brown in 1986 and Peter now runs the farm alongside Jane and their three daughters, Emma, Katie and Charlotte. As well as the arable crops the farm also has pigs, a beef suckler herd, sheep and chickens and we pride ourselves in top quality produce with the highest standard of animal welfare.
